Meet our leadership team

Spotlight on Miss Helen, who joined Mosaic eleven years ago to teach in Cycle 3, primarily in class 5P.

A Swiss/UK national, Miss Helen was drawn to Mosaic by the unique teaching model in which each class is co-taught by two teachers—one English-speaking and one French-speaking—ensuring full immersion in both languages at all times. A strong advocate of this pedagogical approach for language development, she also values the opportunities it creates for teachers to learn from and inspire one another.

Last year, Miss Helen expanded her role by joining the school’s leadership team as Head of Learning. In this pedagogical leadership position, she supports teaching staff in their work and development.

Since the end of term in June, Miss Helen has been preparing for the new academic year, including refining the school’s application to become a Cambridge Primary school, planning the academic calendar, coordinating the delivery of books and teaching materials, organising staff training for 2025–2026, and analysing data from GL standardised assessments. This helps teachers identify learning gaps, monitor student progress, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.

Dedicated to providing a truly holistic education for every student, Miss Helen is a strong ambassador of the school’s bilingual approach and an inspiring model of lifelong learning for both students and staff.
