Language tutoring

The school has set up a structure supervised by the Director of Education to accommodate pupils with no previous knowledge of either of the two languages, or for those coming to Mosaic at a later age (9-10, or even 11 year-olds).

As in the reception classes of public schools in Geneva, the children are withdrawn from their class and a tutor in French or English takes charge of them for a period ranging from 2.5 to 6 hours weekly.

Using this experience, we expect it to take up to three years for a child to acquire, develop and master the new language.
